Convention Day Has Arrived!

It’s finally here!  Forest City ComiCon 2019 has arrived!  Here’s some quick day-of tips for you to enjoy the sixth-annual event:

  • Tickets ARE available at the door. Entry is $20 for adults, kids 12 & under enter free. There is also a $50 family pass (2 adults, 2 youth ages 13-17) that is ONLY available online.  Cash, debit, and credit are accepted at the door.
  • Getting into the show FAST: patrons with advanced tickets can make use of the priority entry. If facing Centennial Hall that entry is the furthest left doors closest to the parking lot. If you’re arriving early (before doors open), come to the blue Forest City ComiCon tent for check in: to get your ticket scanned and receive your wristband before joining the line for fastest entry!
  • Don’t forget the location: we’re in a new venue this year: Centennial Hall!
  • Cosplay! If bringing props into Centennial Hall please make sure they abide by our props policy: have any weapon-like props tagged at the registration desk on arrival.
  • Need cash?  There are ATMs on the main floor and lower level of Centennial Hall.
  • Finding Your Way, Planning Your Day: PICK UP A PROGRAM or USE THE DIGITAL VERSION! Come up with a plan in advance of which panels & presentations you want to catch to save time (and avoid disappointment!) at the show.
  • Cosplayer’s don’t forget about the COSPLAY REPAIR STATION at the Dream Costumes booth. That’s also where you can register for the Cosplay Contest. Remember: the COSPLAY CONTEST IS FREE OF CHARGE TO ENTER!
  • Seeking an autograph?  Autograph and photo rates are posted here: note that autographs and photos are cash only.
  • Photo Etiquette: Please remember, Cosplay is Not Consent: please do not touch other guests or take their photos without permission. Most cosplayers LOVE having their photo taken but want to put their best foot forward for you! Help them do this by asking permission before posing for a photo and respecting their space.
  • Looking for food? You won’t need to look far! Food trucks are out in front of Centennial Hall.
  • For patrons with accessibility needs with regards to stairs: please notify a nearby volunteer when accessing the mainstage or main floor panel room. There is a secondary access with ramp. In addition, there is also an elevator connecting the main floor and lower level.
  • ENJOY YOUR DAY! Our team and volunteers are here to help you have a great morning and afternoon. Have patience: if anything is not as it should be throughout the day, mention it to the nearest volunteer and we will do everything we can to correct it as soon as possible. Make sure to check out ALL areas of the show: main floor, lower level, the Interactive Zone presented by Digital Extremes, and the Board Game Area!
