Kids and Families Guide

Remember: kids 12 and under enter free of charge to the show (with adult supervision) and do not require a ticket!!

Comic Con Tips:

Take a Photo

Take a photo of your child on your smartphone at the start of the day.  If you somehow become separated during the event, this will help us work with you to find them!

Cosplay is FUN!

Coming in costume isn’t required: but it sure is fun for both kids AND adults.  There’s even a special time during the Cosplay Contest for kids to show off their costumes!

Kids Can Bring a Friend... for Free!

Older children especially get even more out of the experience when they attend with a friend or sibling.  If they are age 12 or under, bringing an extra friend comes at no extra cost!

Leave time for Games

Kids & adults alike LOVE the gaming areas spread around the show.  Leave a bit of extra time in your plans to spend some time playing video games or board games together.

Going for an Autograph?

In some cases, autograph lines *can* take some time to get through and are not very interesting for young kids… but there’s lots to do!  Consider having another adult take the kids to another area of the convention rather than wait in line if they feel impatient.

Timing is Everything

Don’t leave the special events you want to see until the end of the day!  Plan your arrival time with kids to enjoy these early in your visit so they don’t miss out.

Set a Meeting Place

Even with older children and other adults who came with you (…especially the adults…)!  This way if you become separated during the show you’ll be able to find each other.

Things to See & Do

(… especially for kids and families).  Full Schedule Here

In the OWL of London Kid’s Zone our Witches and Wizards will be making Bowtruckles. Additionally, for a small donation to the Nature Conservancy of Canada, you will receive an adoption certificate indicating that you are helping to protect environmentally-sensitive land – the perfect habitats for magical and non-magical creatures alike.
